We are committed to fighting breast cancer through community awareness activities, public education, and the promotion of early detection of the disease. Age-appropriate mammograms, clinical breast exams, and monthly self breast exams are considered to be your best plan of defense against breast cancer. Our educators are licensed to teach The MammaCare© technique of breast self examination. Through wide spread research this technique has been found to be the most thorough type of breast self exam. Our Services Include:

Limited financial aid is available to those who qualify and are undergoing treatment for breast cancer.
The CVBCA hosts three fundraisers and a Pink Ribbon Dinner for Breast Cancer Survivors each year. We are also fortunate to be the recipients of fundraising activities and events sponsored by individuals, groups, and businesses in our community.
CVBCA provides support, education, and information on breast cancer and preventive health care to women and men.
PA Breast Cancer Coalition promises research for a cure. This also includes the promotion of legislation that improves diagnoses of breast cancer and medical care for breast cancer patients.
We are able to provide a full circle wig program in collaboration with Diversity Salon by having the ability to accept donated wigs which can be washed and restored (if needed) and maintained.
CVBCA services are FREE and all funds are used in this community (Franklin County) and surrounding area.
